+As traditional, I ran a big VTES tournament at [[http://www.ropecon.fi|Ropecon]] this year. This year it was also the Finnish Qualifier for the [[http://ec2010.sabbatinfrance.org|European Championships in Paris]] (to be played in October).
+Attendance was fantastic, we got a grand total of 93 players; I think that's the second-largest Ropecon VTES tournament ever. As usual most of the players were local -- well, Finnish at least -- but we had a nice mini-delegation of foreign players also attending: five Swedes, one Dane, and one guy from the States (via Hungary). Despite a brave attempt, this year's win didn't go to the Swedes, though it //was// close to going to that insidious "Ben" guy. Justice and the Finnish Way prevailed in the end, though. :)
